Latest update on re opening of the Swimming Pools.

I promised to update you prior to August 1st target.

We are receiving excellent support from Vesta Holidays who are doing everything within its power to help in the preparation of the applications and their subsequent submission to the appropriate departments, giving priority, to Limnaria Gardens.

Please note this is a process that ordinarily takes upwards of 6 months to achieve. Vesta Holidays has in a very short time found and approved an engineer to perform the necessary studies and equipment plans of the two pools, have appointed a professional and accredited lifeguard and required Covid regulations are now in place

Regarding where we are at present, I am optimistic that by the end of this week the inspection checks will have been concluded as promised by the electromechanical department. Limnaria Gardens can then expect to receive an appointment from the local Health department next week to carry out their inspection checks. If we are successful, I believe Limnaria Gardens will have secured the legally required permits for both pools by around the 15th August.


It is important we always operate within the law as we look to our Vision to make Limnaria Gardens an upmarket, secure and safe residential complex for families.

After my recent post regarding the Opening of the Swimming pools, I would like to clarify the situation.

The lifeguard has been employed from 1st July but the committee are now waiting for the authorities to approve the licence.

Therefore the pool is unlikely to be open before 1st August.

Sorry for any confusion.

Great News

The swimming pool at Limnaria has reopened today.
New pool opening hours are 10am to 6.30 pm. Monday to Saturday with a Qualified Lifeguard.

We would like to reassure all of our guests that have booked to stay with us over the coming months that we take your health and safety very seriously. At this time we are governed by the authorities in Cyprus regarding travel and tourism.
