🇳🇱 Feria de Málaga begint bijna! 💃
Van 15 t/m 22 augustus staat Málaga een week lang in het teken van muziek, dans, flamenco, lekker eten en feest. Overdag vind je de Feria in het centrum, terwijl het feest ’s avonds doorgaat op het grote feriaterrein in de wijk Cortijo de Torres.

Een week vol Spaanse tradities, live muziek en natuurlijk heel veel gezelligheid. ☀️

🇬🇧 Feria de Málaga is almost back! 💃🇪🇸
From 15–22 August, Málaga celebrates a full week of music, dancing, flamenco, food and festivities. During the day, the Feria takes over the city centre, while in the evenings the celebrations continue at the main fairground in Cortijo de Torres.

A week filled with Spanish traditions, live music and plenty of fun. ☀️

🇳🇱 ✨ Eén van de meest bijzondere tradities van Andalusië vond op 16 juli plaats: de processies van de Virgen del Carmen. In vele kustplaatsen van Málaga trokken prachtig versierde beelden door de straten én over zee, ter ere van de beschermheilige van vissers en zeelieden. 🌊⛵

Maar de festiviteiten zijn nog niet voorbij. Ook dit weekend vinden in verschillende wijken van Málaga nog processies en lokale feesten plaats. Een mooie kans om deze bijzondere Andalusische traditie alsnog van dichtbij mee te maken. 💙

🇬🇧 ✨ One of Andalusia’s most special traditions took place on 16 July: the processions of the Virgen del Carmen. In many coastal towns of Málaga, beautifully decorated statues were carried through the streets and even across the sea, in honour of the patron saint of fishermen and sailors. 🌊⛵

But the celebrations are not over yet. This weekend, several neighbourhoods in Málaga are still hosting processions and local festivities, offering a wonderful opportunity to experience this unique Andalusian tradition up close. 💙
