"On Emails, Boundaries, and Professional Respect"

There are people with whom our paths cross for a while. There are collaborations that start with energy and enthusiasm, but as in life — not all projects become long-term stories. That happened to us too.

When collaboration ends, everyone usually moves on — with gratitude for what they have accomplished together and wishes for success in the future. But sometimes someone closes the window but forgets to close the door… Or deliberately leaves it slightly open.

In recent days, we have observed unusual activity — an email account that once belonged to a former colleague is being used to send messages to collaboration partners. Messages that express an opinion that is both subjective and, unfortunately, inaccurate.

It should be noted — this email account is no longer in the person's possession, and its use after the end of the collaboration is both ethically questionable and legally incorrect. Likewise, the deliberate dissemination of false information can have both reputational and legal consequences.

We do not view this situation with anger. However, we can say with clear conviction: a respectful attitude towards former cooperation also means knowing when it is time to let go. And respecting boundaries - both professional and humanly fair.
