እኔም፣ ባለቤቴም፣ ልጆቼም ሁላችንም ልንሞት እንችል ነበር!

አንድ ድሃ ሰው ለሃያ ዓመታት ያህል ሳንቲም በሳንቲም እያጠራቀመ፣ ያካበተውን ሀብት በሙሉ ተጠቅሞ ለቤተሰቡ የሚሆን ቤት ሠራ። ከዚያም ከቤተሰቡ ጋር ወደ አዲሱ ቤት የሚገባበት የምርቃት ቀን ተቆረጠ። ነገር ግን ወደ ቤቱ ሊገባ ሁለት ቀን ብቻ ሲቀረው፣ የመሬት መንቀጥቀጥ ተከስቶ ቤቱ ሙሉ በሙሉ ፈረሰ።

ሰውየው ዜናውን ሲሰማ፣ ቤቱ ወደነበረበት ቦታ ከመሄዱ በፊት ገበያ ወጥቶ ጣፋጭ ነገር ገዛ። ቦታው ሲደርስ፣ ለፍቶ የሰራውን ቤት ገና ሳይኖርበት በማጣቱ የተሰማቸውን ሐዘን የሚገልጹለት ብዙ ሰዎች ተሰብስበው ነበር። አንዳንዶችም ሊያጽናኑት ሞከሩ።

ሰውየው ግን ጣፋጩን አውጥቶ ለሁሉም ማደል ጀመረ። በቦታው የነበሩት ሁሉ ይህንን ሲያዩ እጅግ ተገረሙ። ይህንን የተመለከተ አንድ ጓደኛውም፣ "አብደሃል እንዴ? አዲስ የሠራኸው ቤት ፈርሷል፣ የሕይወት ዘመን ልፋትህ ሁሉ ባክኗል፤ አንተ ደግሞ በደስታ ጣፋጭ ታድላለህ!?" አለው።

ድሃው ሰው ፈገግ ብሎ እንዲህ አለ፦ "እናንተ ክስተቱን ከጉዳቱ አንፃር ብቻ እየተመለከታችሁት ነው። ቤቱ ዛሬ መፍረሱ እኮ መልካም ነው። ከሁለት ቀን በኋላ እኔና ቤተሰቦቼ ከገባንበት በኋላ ቢፈርስ ኖሮ እኔም፣ ባለቤቴም፣ ልጆቼም ሁላችንም ልንሞት እንችል ነበር! ያን ጊዜ ምን ያህል ትልቅ ኪሳራ ይደርስ ነበር?

ስለዚህ የሆነው ሁሉ ለበጎ ነው።"

አንዲት ዝሆን እና ውሻ በተመሳሳይ ግዜ አረገዙ። ከሦስት ወራት በኃላ ውሻዋ ስድስት ቡችላዎችን ወለደች። ከስድስት ወር በኋላ ውሻዋ እንደገና ፀነሰች፤ በዘጠኝ ወራት ውስጥ ሌላ ደርዘን ቡችላዎችን ወለደች። እንዲህ እንዲህ እያለች ውሻዋ ማርገዝ እና መውለዷን ቀጠለች።

በ18ኛው ወር ውሻዋ ወደ ዝሆኗ ቀርባ፡- "ግን እርጉዝ መሆንሽን እርግጠኛ ነሽ? በአንድ ቀን ፀንሰናል እኔም በርካታ ቡችላዎችን ወልጃለሁ። እነሱ አሁን ትልልቅ ውሾች ሆነዋል፣ አንቺ ግን አሁንም 'እርጉዝ' ነሽ። ምን እየሆነ ነው?" ስትል ጠየቀች
ዝሆኗም ረጋ ብላ "እንዲገባሽ የምፈልገው ነገር እኔ የተሸከምኩት ቡችላ ሳይሆን ዝሆን ነው፣ በሁለት አመት ውስጥ አንድ ብቻ ​​ነው የምወልደው። ልጄ ሲራመድ ምድር ይሰማታል፣ ልጄ መንገዱን ሲያቋርጥ የሰው ልጅ ቆም ብሎ በአድናቆት ይመለከተዋል። እኔ የተሸከምኩት ሀይለኛ፣ ታላቅ እና ጊዜ የሚፈልግ ነው።" ብላ መለሰችላት።
