Dear Residents,

We wanted to inform you that we will soon begin drainage works at the Burn of Pheppie Project in Newtonhill. During this time, there will be limited pedestrian access crossing over the burn to and from the Chapelton of Elisck.

We understand that this walking and running path is well-used by the local community, and we apologies for any inconvenience caused by these necessary works. Our team will strive to minimize disruption, but please be aware that this may extend for a few weeks starting from May 20th.

Drumrossie Homes celebrates the arrival of its first residents at Rothney West in Insch.

Jacqueline and Alan Scott, after a year-long search, opted for the two-bedroom Barra home, appreciating the convenience of a new build, the customisation options and a return to peaceful countryside living.

Due to Jacqueline primarily using a wheelchair or crutches, the semi-detached bungalow features several wheelchair-friendly adaptions, including a walk-in shower, wide doorways, bathroom railings, lowered kitchen units and an outdoor ramp.

Jacqueline said: “The whole process has been a pleasure so far. We are just loving being out in Insch - it’s so peaceful and quiet. The home is just fantastic and we even have a stunning view out to the ruins of Dunnideer Castle.”
