You’ll never agree with this one but you need to hear it

Contractors saying. 👇🏻

“You f**kin developers always want the cheapest quote - I’ll be here when it goes t**s up and you ring me back” 🤬🤬

Do you know how many times I see posts like this on social media ?

Right this might sting a bit 👇🏻

This is a strategy I see deployed by disgruntled contractors when they didn’t win the work

Rather than focusing on how they can demonstrate true value on their own offering

They hack the competition

And make it the clients fault

If quote A was cheaper than quote B - it doesn’t not EVER mean that it will be of a lesser standard - it’s just lower

Likewise - quote B being a higher quote doesn’t mean it will be better - it’s just higher

Quotes are arrived on the following metrics

- size of business
- geography
- OH&P application
- knowledge
- amount of info provided
- pricing strategy
- availability

There’s a few more but that’s enough for me to share this evening

Nobody ever got up and said “I’m s**t - I’ll be cheap”

Now if you’re wanting to avoid s**tty trades and contractors - don’t use the price as a metric to do so

You WILL get screwed 🤬
