Beautiful two bed barn conversion located on the edge of the pretty rural village of Upper Farringdon, Hampshire in the South Downs National Park and Jane Austen country.

It was such a pleasure to host the beautiful bride, her bridesmaids and family for a very special wedding in the village last weekend.
The barn was a hive of activity in the run up with popping corks, bouquets of flowers, lots of laughter and happy photographs before the bridal party made the short stroll along the lane to our beautiful village church.
The sun shone and the day was utterly perfect in every way.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs C 🥂🍾.
September is a busy month and in a couple of weeks we are looking forward to playing host to another wedding party, with the couple also getting married in All Saints Church. Fingers crossed for another fun filled weekend!

Dropped in to The Lavender Fields. Est. 1999 to restock our supply of delicious hand and body lotion, hand wash and shower gel for our guests. The lavender is just coming into bloom in the fields and the aroma is sensational. So worth a visit for a wander around the fields and a cup of tea in the delightful cafe and shop.

Rather a wonderful display of black headed gulls having a lovely time swooping over the fields and no doubt having their fill of whatever culinary delights are on offer!
It is a scorcher here and only set to get hotter! Fans at the ready for our next guests!

Yesterday we took a stroll around some beautiful local gardens, only open to the public once a year. What a magical place and another reminder that Spring has well and truly sprung!

What a beautiful day!! Positively summery and oh so green!
Let’s hope the sunshine stays for the arrival of our next guests on Wednesday so that they can enjoy visiting Hampshire at its best!

The youngest wanted to go to a castle this half term and what better example to visit than the beautiful Arundel Castle in all its glory in the Autumn sunshine!
Less than an hour’s drive from The Hay Barn, this is a must see for all our guests who would like to immerse themselves in a 1000 years of British history.
What changes and key moments in history it has observed over the centuries from the War of the Roses, being laid under siege during the Civil War, surviving the Second World War and has remained the family seat of the Dukes of Norfolk and their ancestors for 850 years.
The youngest was suitably impressed!
