Not every day goes to plan in this job… and that’s what makes it interesting! 😅

Every move is different. Tight deadlines, last-minute changes, awkward furniture, and unexpected problems all come with the job. It’s hard work physically, but it’s just as demanding mentally. The important thing is finding a solution while keeping our customers as stress-free as possible.

The reason we still love doing it? The people we do it with.

We’re not just work colleagues—we’re family and best mates. We work hard, have a laugh, keep each other smiling, and if you hear us arguing, it’s usually about who forgot the tea bags! ☕😂

Our diary is looking very busy right through to the end of summer, but we’ve still got a few gaps available and we’ll always do our best to fit you in.

Working hard, having a laugh, the music on, a well-earned tea break, and another happy customer at the end of the day.

What you see on our page is exactly who we are. We do our own social media, we don’t have a marketing team, and we’re not trying to be something we’re not. We’re just a family business that genuinely cares.

We might not be the biggest company around, and we haven’t got hundreds of five-star reviews just to look good online. But with all our hearts, we believe we’re one of the best, because we treat every move as if it was our own and always go the extra mile.

If you’ve noticed we’ve been a bit quiet with the videos lately… that’s actually a good sign! 😅 We’ve been flat out helping people move. We usually make our content on the quieter days, and there just haven’t been many of those recently.

Thanks to everyone who trusts us with their move. We really do appreciate every single one of you. ❤️🏡🚚

What a summer it’s been… and it still doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
It’s been full-on with long days, early starts, late finishes, and spending 12+ hours a day together, facing new challenges every single day. But despite everything, we’re still pushing forward and getting better with every move.
A lot of people only see the van arrive and the furniture being unloaded, but there’s so much more that goes on behind the scenes.
We’re juggling moving dates when solicitors delay completions, booking time off to recharge only for plans to change overnight, organising staff and then having to let them down when dates move, dealing with vans that decide they need repairs at the worst possible time, tight access, unexpected delays, underestimating the size of a move, and having to think on our feet to make it all work.
Then there are the little surprises… “I’ve measured it, it’ll definitely fit!” 😅 Ten minutes later we’re dismantling wardrobes, beds, sheds, or other furniture that wasn’t meant to come apart. Customers not quite packed when we arrive, traffic accidents causing delays, and a hundred other things that can throw a perfectly planned day off course.
When we come out to quote a job, we’re also trying to work out exactly how many vans and staff are needed while keeping the price as fair and affordable as possible. It’s not always easy, but we always do our best because we know moving house is stressful enough already.
Every day is different. Every move brings a new challenge. But that’s exactly why we love what we do.
A huge thank you to every customer who has trusted CP Removals this summer, recommended us to family and friends, or simply been patient when things haven’t quite gone to plan. Your support means everything to our small family-run business. And a like or share always goes a very long way.
