The next Arbroath Small Business Community meet-up is confirmed 👏
For ASBC 6, we’ll be joined by **Jane Taylor from Invest in Angus / Angus Council Economic Development** for a relaxed roundtable discussion around:
What’s In It for My Business? — Opportunities in Arbroath & Angus
This won’t be a presentation about Council structures or a tourism strategy.
Instead, we’ll be looking at what’s happening across Arbroath and Angus and asking a much more practical question:
Where are the opportunities for local businesses?
Jane will be touching on areas including:
• How visitors, events and increased footfall can benefit businesses far beyond the traditional tourism sector
• What regeneration, investment and place development could mean for local businesses
• How businesses can connect into opportunities happening across Arbroath and Angus
• Collaboration, referrals and local supply chains
• Training, upskilling and possible funding/support opportunities
• Where to go when you need help, support or pointed in the right direction
• How Economic Development can help connect businesses with the right people and opportunities
We’ll also be opening the discussion up to the room and asking:
If there was one thing that would make it easier to run or grow your business in Arbroath, what would it be?
As always, there’ll still be plenty of time for relaxed networking, introductions and proper conversations with other local businesses.
