If you are interested in volunteering with Ashbourne Repair Cafe come to the meeting tomorrow at 10.30am at The Brass Button (back room). This could include fixers or people who want to help get things fixed.

Ashbourne Repair Cafe took another step forward this week with the good news that we have secured over £2000 in funding to help pay for equipment, hire costs, insurance and registration with the Global Repair Cafe.

The funding has come from the Better Derbyshire Dales Fund and the Local Project Fund managed by DDDC Ashbourne ward councillors so thank you for the help.

The next step is to sort out the best venue and insurance so more news very soon

The Ashbourne Repair Cafe is coming soon! Our Steering Group has applied for funding to help the project get started and we are looking to hire a room at the new Link Centre on the last Saturday of each month. We are actively recruiting volunteers to help with the repairs and to help organise each

What we need right now however is a new Treasurer to help open a bank account and manage the money so if you are interested in helping out then please get in touch with one of us or email us at [email protected]
