Wake up to birdsong, stroll across the top of the downs, dine in a country pub, marvel at the night sky and sleep soundly in a proper bed in our gorgeous fully furnished bells on our beautiful, peaceful adults only site. After a long, hot day of campsite and bell tent maintenance we treated ourselves to a mini-break in Foxtail bell tent (purely for research of course)
We had tea and cake and listened to the birds.
We cooked dinner, watched the sunset, made a fire, toasted marshmallows and made s’mores (more about camp cooking to follow) and slept soundly.
We opened up the tent doors in the morning to birdsong, surrounded by butterflies, and watched hares in the adjacent field.
Staying in a bell tent is a wonderful way to completely switch off from the hustle and bustle and find some peace and a little bit of adventure.
