🧾 Volunteer Treasurer Wanted – Buckland Village Hall - Buckland Old School Trust (BOST)

Do you have a background in finance or accounting and a few hours to spare each month?
We’re looking for a Volunteer Treasurer to join the Buckland Old School Trust (BOST) — a small, registered charity that helps manage and preserve our much-loved Village Hall for community use.

✅ Meetings are held every three months
✅ Role involves light financial oversight and reporting
✅ A great way to use your skills for a good cause and meet others in the community

Buckland Old School Trust who manage Buckland village hall are looking for a Hall Manager.

Main responsibilities are:
Managing hall bookings, invoices, hall diary, website, social media, liaising with contractors;
Report to trustees at quarterly meetings and take minutes etc.
This is a mainly remote job, although person does need to visit the hall regularly.
The role is five hours a week, self employed.

What a fantastic day everyone had at Buckland Blast - it truly was a blast!
There was something for everyone - children’s entertainment, dog show, village quiz, seniors lunch, Celidh, open mic and fabulous bands. What a way to celebrate 25 years since the refurbishment of our village hall! The perfect venue for any event!

There will be an open mic session in the afternoon and bands in the evening. Little Edge are one of the many groups performing.
