For years, I was just coasting through life—being a landlord, collecting rent, and thinking I was setting myself up for a comfortable future. But truth be told, I had no real direction, no bigger vision. I was simply saving for a pension, not building a legacy.

It wasn’t until the last few years that I truly woke up. I decided to stop drifting (except cars) and start creating something bigger—something that would give my family freedom and allow me to live life on my terms.

For the 1st time i invested heavily in my education, in mentors, and still activley do, and in surrounding myself with the right people. And guess what? The results have been incredible. 🙌

Rent-to-rent and serviced accommodation changed the game for me! It’s given me time freedom, flexibility, and a future I’m excited about.

So if you’re sitting on the fence, waiting for the "right time"—trust me, don’t. Waiting is a fool’s game. 🚀 The right time is always now.

Automate Guest Communication 💬, this is a must in my books, and can easliy be obtained by the use of automated messaging/emails for booking confirmations, check-ins, and follow-ups. This saves you time while ensuring that yours guests always get the information they need. I also do add the pernsonal touch and will try where possible to add in a phone call a couple of days before arrival date to ensure they have received all the prior messages.

Standardise Your Cleaning and Maintenance 🛠️

To scale you will need a cleaning and maintennce team, so partner with reliable compaines and set clear quality standards. This helps ensure every unit is spotless and well-kept, no matter how many properties you manage, ensure that the maintence team and aware of the cleaniness requirement should they attend between bookings.

Invest in a Property Management System (PMS) 🖥️

At scale you need a good PMS, this will allow you to manage your bookings, adjust pricing, and communicate with your guests efficiently. With the right system in place, you can grow without sacrificing organisation or service quality.

So Important, Gather Feedback & Improve 🌟
