We can finally get going again… 🎉🎉

In August last year my Mum decided the second floor flat would not be the most ideal option for her for the future, and when the opportunity came for her to buy the flat downstairs she grabbed it. A LONG 7 months later we became the proud owners of this beauty in Broadstairs… with a sea view to die for! 🌊 🏖

Property 3- we’ve got the keys!! 🔑

Today we went to see Mum’s new flat (which is stunning) and hope she will be very happy there! 💕 We then measured up for new kitchen, bathroom, paint job and carpets. We met a wonderful local builder who will quote for the works and hopefully turn it around in 4-6 weeks. 🤞🏻

Best feature for me personally is the exposed chimney breast…. And of course the view (which I didn’t photograph!) 📸

Week ????- delays due to lockdown have pushed this project back, but the end is nearly in sight...

The flooring in the kitchen and bathroom has been laid, so just finishing tweaks to make in these rooms. (Kickboards now need trimming and last electrical fix)

Tapi carpets messed up our order and ordered beige not grey carpets, so they have to come back to complete next week. 😢

Alex has done another fine paint job throughout and Rysco’s attention to detail has really made this house go from dingy, to***co stained maisonette to a young person’s perfect first home (two minute walk from the station... so excellent commuter route too!)
