A couple of pics from our meeting with key stakeholders in the Glasgow City Region. It was really great to have a mix of people there, all committed to improving housing in the area.

It was also great to have a wider discussion about the use of IoT sensors in homes and the community aspects of housing.

It was interesting to hear how bad apples can damage community spirit, but we believe that the Tenants Hub AI community-centred platform’s ability to connect people has many more benefits than drawbacks.
It got us thinking about how we could use sentiment analysis to restrict users who might damage that community spirit. There is a larger ethical question around who makes that call and where we draw the line, but it could be done.

Great to be a finalist in Male Innovator of the Year 2025 at The Innovation Awards representing Tenants Hub AI. Thanks to Richard Fallon and Prof. Paul Cadman for putting on such a fun event.

Congratulations to Jeremy Dale of Birmingham City FC who won the award for securing a multi-billion pound and largest ever investment in the region.

Special thanks to Lloyd Broad, Iain Mansell, Raj Mack and Oliver Burrows for their kindness, support and integrity. It's always a pleasure to spend time with you and I never thought I would meet such great people through this endeavour I am grateful to you all.

Finally and most importantly I am so glad to have been able to take my pregnant wife Marisol Corona with me, who never get to spend weekends with me because I am always working, I would give it all up for you. Although I am a bit concerned she may have fallen in love with Lloyd Broad. 😆

Reflecting on last week at the Smart City Expo World Congress the question I ask my self is was it worth it?

And—spoiler alert—for two reasons, the answer is a resounding yes!

1 Representing Birmingham. Getting the opportunity to showcase Tenants Hub AI's building fault management platform and receive feedback on our latest AI features was invaluable. Understanding what UK councils and housing associations are looking for was equally important.

2 Meeting inspiring people. Connecting with some of the most inspiring people in the UK, who are working on interesting projects and making a positive difference, was also a great highlight.

Special thanks to everyone who made it a fun and worthwhile experience. I’m already looking forward to next year!
