The flat roof is finally ready for its deck and soon we will be able to appreciate the full space we have created by removing the wall between the living room and kitchen 🤩

Lanehouse Update Week 9

Next up we need to concentrate on both the kitchen flat roof (once the brickwork is up) and getting the plumbing and electrics back in for first fix. The concrete pour all needs to happen soon to give it a bit of time to cure as well as reworking the bathroom layouts for optimisation.

Lanehouse Week 8 🧱🔌

REWIRE HAS BEGUN 🤩⚡️

Found myself in a bit of a hole after a contractor has left me with a steel destined for failure and the kitchen has been rectified as well as the brickwork beginning to fly back up. Stud work is fully underway alongside the insulation of all the eves. Soon I'll be starting to re-plumb the entire house as well as loads of other tasks that need tying up along the way. It's exciting this renovation sh*t.

No update as for the progress on site this week but the coming week I'm hoping to make it a big one where hopefully the flat roof situation can begin to be addressed and get some joinery tasks started in the house. Window order will also be placed very soon!!!

It's been a big week of structural progress this week with the lads cracking on on site while I was at university for the entire week 9-5 everyday.

Lanehouse Week 4 🔩🔩🔩

First month of the project has been a success 🤩. The strip out is now complete and we are into phase 2 of the project: structural and roof amendments.

This week all the structural work is being carried out, with the removal of the chimney already fully underway, so follow to stay up to date with what's going down...
