One of our favourite things about staying at Three Tree Lodge? There are some rather lovely places to eat right on the doorstep 🤍

The Clipper in Shaldon is a gorgeous spot for breakfast, with views straight out across the Teign Estuary — definitely worth lingering over another coffee for ☕️🌊

Shaldon itself is lovely for a wander afterwards too, so it makes a perfect slow morning if you're staying with us.

Good food, sea air and no need to rush anywhere. Exactly how a South Devon escape should feel.

I think autumn might secretly be one of my favourite seasons at Three Tree 🍂

The evenings start drawing in, the log burner comes back into its own and somehow the wood-fired hot tub feels even better when there’s a chill in the air.

There are a couple of new additions waiting this season too — including the pergola over the hot tub and our new gas BBQ (because BBQs are absolutely not just for summer 🔥).

I’ve written a new Stories from the Lodge all about why I love this time of year here in South Devon, and what autumn and winter at Three Tree looks like.

And if it leaves you thinking I could really do with a couple of days there… our autumn and winter stays are now open for booking.
