While most people talk about investing in property, we are busy building it.

Dicconson Terrace, Wigan. One of our most exciting active developments right now.

Work continues to move forward on site, with several key areas now progressing through the finishing stages.

Roof slate installation is progressing, with the remaining roofing works being completed before the team moves onto the new-build section. Window trims are also being installed, adding further detail to the external finish.

Internally, second-fix works are progressing across the units, alongside bathroom tiling and other finishing works. Our electricians have also amended the extractors in Unit 9 as part of the ongoing electrical works.

Each stage brings the development closer to completion, with the team focused on quality, detail and consistent delivery across the site.

For investors, seeing a project progress from construction through to completion provides a clear view of how development works in practice.

Site Progress Update: Dicconson Terrace, Wigan.

The brickwork on the internal walls is complete and the gable end is done. Looking at these images, you can really start to feel the structure taking shape.

There is something about reaching this stage of a development that we genuinely love. The point where the bones of the building are visible. Where you can walk through a space and start to picture exactly what it is going to become.

The original Victorian brickwork and the new timber roof structure sitting alongside each other tells the story of what we do at DBR. Respect for what was already there, built around by a team who know what they are doing.

Dicconson Terrace is a residential development in the heart of Wigan, one of the North West's most compelling property markets right now. House prices in Wigan grew 6.6% year on year to June 2026, ahead of the North West regional average. A genuine growth market, with a genuine project actively delivering inside it.
