We have a stall on Sunday at the Boroughbridge and Aldborough show. With football games and lots of exciting raffle prizes to give away why not come down and see us!

£1 for 1 ticket

A good draw (2-2) against a team in a division above and to lose on penalties is always heartbreaking but first 10mins we’re solid with a great save from interim GK Claire Wills keeping it 0-0, a spell of sustained pressure by the opposition saw them grab the opener from a corner and double their lead shortly after when a cross luckily found its way into the top corner, a few half chances for our front line but not converted and some quality saves by Gk Chelsea Perrett saw us 2-0 down at half time

In the second half we started to dominate with our energy and physicality and that showed when Emma Ayton pressed their DM to steal the ball and a clean connection saw the ball flying over the keepers head to make it 2-1⚽️, and minutes later a lot hard work and battling from the team saw Jo Hammond find space on the left flank to play an incredible pass to Liv Gillam who slid the ball pass the Gk to make it 2-2 ⚽️and to claim her 3rd goal of the season, some quality defending saw the opposition get very little chances and the game ended 2-2

Next up penalties, some excellent penalties take by both teams but unfortunately we end up losing 4-3 on pens

Lass of the grass was Emma Ayton who’s non stop running and battling was capped off by a brilliant goal!
