🚨 "Bank of England keeps interest rates at 3.75%" 🚨

So what does this actually mean if you're buying or selling a home? 👇

🔹If you're buying:

The rate hold provides some stability, but it doesn't necessarily mean mortgage rates will fall.

Mortgage rates are influenced by more than just the Bank Rate, so buyers should still consider their monthly payments and overall affordability when deciding what they can comfortably spend.

The good news is that you don't necessarily need to wait for rates to fall to make a move. If you find the right property and the numbers work for you, there are still opportunities in the market.

🔹 If you're selling:

Buyers remain very conscious of affordability, so pricing your property realistically is particularly important.

A higher asking price doesn't necessarily mean you'll achieve a higher sale price. If a property is priced beyond what buyers can comfortably afford, it can result in fewer enquiries, fewer viewings and a longer time on the market.
