Some essential drainage work done to a damp cottage where the ground level had been built up way too high over the years (above internal floor level) with no gutter or drains for porch
A new French drain was put in around the entire front of the property into purpose built soak away pits and new drains included for the porch guttering
The porch was also completely re roofed with reclaimed Welsh slate all new lead work new black wood grained pvc facia soffit and barge and new pvc gutters and Down pipes (the porch is due to be re rendered after new doors and windows are fitted)

One of my recent projects was to design and build a BBQ and bar area including altering the existing gazebo, including creating a tv wall ( a folding cover to be be painted as a picture) making decorative trusses and shelf’s, hiding all wiring in posts, making wooden covers for metal post bases, inserting porcelain slabs into floor in BBQ area, and strengthening structure, this was a really interesting project for some returning clients who I’ve done lots of work for in the past and I’m sure you will agree makes an incredible space fo outdoor dining and entertaining

This is a project that I was involved with from the start, from working on the project and being heavily involved with the designing and running of the build, while subcontracting for a building contractor incredibly proud of the finished project

Two newly converted stone barns on our working hill farm, with Fallow Deer and native breed sheep. Set in beautiful Pengenffordd, near Talgarth, Powys we are a short drive from Hay on Wye and Builth Wells, home to the Royal Welsh Show.

One of the projects I’ve been working on recently was the complete renovation of this tired, damp, cold porch/utility, I have really enjoyed working on this project, with quality and attention to detail absolutely paramount I think its a complete transformation the customers are overjoyed with the work and have further work they would like me to do
This renovation involved :
- gutting the extension back to a shell
- break up and excavate the damp uneven floor
- underpinning of poorly built foundations
- install new ground slab to match into existing floor levels including steps
- insulate and screed over new underfloor heating system
- fit new Indian stone window cill to match the rest of the property
- Fit new picture window
- clad exterior with stone slips and point (gable to be rendered soon)
- fit a new roof window into existing roof
- fully insulate and damp proof the extension to current standards
- plaster board and skim (MDH plastering)
- lay fossilised limestone floor tiles and grout
- make and fit bespoke melamine cupboards and seat all cladded in solid oak
- make and fit bespoke boxing in over consumer unit and wiring
