Heavy but rewarding work, relaying these original pennant stone slabs in a basement in Clifton. Some of them were around 150mm thick! Will be pointed up soon!

Last weekend I went back to Glastonbury Abbey for the first time since I worked there back in 2013/14. It was amazing to see all the work we did so many years ago. I think in total I worked there for over a year, many months of lime mortar pointing, stone conservation, stone walling, repairing steps and paving/laying slabs. Felt like I knew every inch of the place. It's weathered in beautifully... especially loving the lichen on the blue lias paving!

Working with some Blue Lias stone today - it's not uncommon to find ammonite fossils such as this.

Thanks to for sending over these pics of a Cotswold stone raised planter I built last year as part of a wider garden landscaping project with . It's not often I get a chance to share some high res pics and see my work once it's weathered in and the planting has taken place.

Don't usually get to see from these angles! This time 10 years ago I was part of a small team working on on the Clifton side, carrying out lime mortar repointing, Bath stone replacement, stone cleaning, shelter coating and mortar repairs. The views were mega!

Loving the details! 😍

Sleek ply handle detail on the kitchen cupboard doors from and this cast iron radiator in racing green!

More pics coming soon as we close in on completing a Victorian terrace kitchen remodeling project. More space, more light!
