I've received loads of scam messages and calls recently, not sure if anyone else has or I'm being specifically targeted.... (I jest) Latest is from DVSA in lower case, informing me of non payment of a parking fine and the implications of that, and of course that shady 'link' to sort. These scammers ate thick and certainly don't do their homework!
1. DVSA don't issue parking fines.
2. It comes from a mobile phone.
3. Loads of spelling and grammar mistakes.
Don't engage if you get this. There are so many tell tale signs that this is an obvious scam. Delete it. Councils or anyone don't send text messages, you would get a fixed penalty notice in the post.
Oh, I got a call from immigration yesterday informing me that my visa had run out and it could be sorted by following a link!! 😂😂 I will forward it to my great, great, great grandparents who were Swiss!
