Always book utility companies in weeks before you need them so they are actual finished when you need then to be

🧱 Complete 2nd fix carpentry on the 3rd & 4th floor
🧱 Complete plastering on the GF
🧱 Start plasterboarding the LGF
🧱 Install baths on the GF, 1st & 2nd floor
🧱 Complete wall tiling on the 4th, 3rd & 2nd floor
🧱 Complete facade rendering
🧱 Continue 2nd fix electrics on the 3rd floor
🧱 Plaster the communal hallways and stairwell
🧱 Lay underfloor heating on the 1st & 2nd floor
🧱 Lay flooring on the 1st & 2nd floor

Tip of the week. Photos can talk!!

The 1st shows pipework and services that pe*****te through the blockwork have been sealed with intumescent mastic. This reduces the spread of fire and helps with air leakage.

The 2nd shows fire-resistant Rockwool installed and 2 layers of 12.5mm fire-resistant plasterboard which will provide 30 minutes of fire resistance.

If you are the one responsible for ensuring your project is signed off by building control at the end of the project then these photos are essential

This week we are continuing with 1st fix plumbing which includes running in the water and gas mains, 1st fix electrics which is running in the fibre cables and ducting for extractors, insulating between party walls, plasterboarding the top floor, finishing touches to the flat roof, coping stones on the parapet wall and brickwork infills below the windows, window boards and removing temporary staircases now the main staircase is installed, rendering to the flank walls and finally installing the pumps to the surface water chamber
