LTC are excited to lead in the design and co-ordination of a planning application for our clients 2ha site, delivering 26 thoughtfully designed, new homes alongside a local farm shop and public open space.

The proposal places strong emphasis on community and landscape, including an on site retail shop, dedicated play area and creation of linked footpaths through green space to the existing village hall for the wider area to use and enjoy.

We have brought to our client our detailed designs and then with the assistance of a wider specialist team of tried and trusted consultants to deliver a complete and well thought out application submission.

We have recently submitted a planning application for the refurbishment of an existing warehouse building to demolish outdated structures within the yard and to include a new build office element within the warehouse.

The proposals seek to enhance the functionality and appearance of the building, supporting its continued use while improving the overall quality of the site.

We have been working with our favoured team of tried and trusted consultants to help pull together a proficient and well thought out design through a suite of drawings and reports in support of the planning works.

HAPPy NEW YEAR

We can’t believe it’s been a whole year since we brought our very own Leica RTC 360 3D laser scanner.

What began as a hire tool to see how we faired became a company investment into measured building surveying, an integral part of our scope of services and as technology moves so quickly we are keen to stay on the forward curve.

Here’s to 2026 full of renewed momentum and ambition.

LTC measured this unit at the start of 2025 with a partially collapsed roof and tired looking 1960s facade with dented cladding

We have successfully gained planning permission to overclad the existing warehouse, demolish the existing internal office and construct a new, externally located two storey office block within the existing car park to refresh and renew this building set within an existing industrial estate in Swindon

Our inspections have been taking place every month along with our site progress report to document the build and lucky for us the sun was shining as the weather turns cold once again

1: The Royal Arcade, Pershore
Our team recently carried out a detailed condition and measured building survey of this Grade II listed building, originally a hotel, now a café, restaurant and community hub.

Originally constructed in the early 19th century, the Royal Arcade has long been a key part of Pershore’s civic life. Over time, it has evolved from a hotel to a vibrant mixed-use space while retaining much of its architectural character.

2: Architectural Details – Bridge Street Façade
Full-length multi-pane sash windows with margin lights
Decorative porch with columns, pilasters, cornice, and fanlight set within the striking Limestone ashlar façade under a Welsh slate roof

3: Architectural Details – Broad Street Façade
First-floor windows with lintels and opening dado panels
Full-width wrought-iron verandah with timber brackets
Retains historic proportions and craftsmanship

4: Traces of the original fabric remain, including:
Moulded window architraves
Timber dado panels
These features reflect the building’s 19th-century heritage, even amidst modern adaptations.

5: Our detailed condition survey identifies:
Current condition of structural and heritage elements
Patterns of deterioration
Strategies for sensitive repair and long-term maintenance
Using our 3D static laser scanner we can capture detail and deterioration of the facade in a time stamped image capture
