We have now made the hall safer for kids by fitting heater guards and stair gates on the stage.
It was great to welcome the first baby and toddler group on Friday.

VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK
It is now a year since re-opening after the fire and we are delighted that it is becoming increasingly popular.
However its increased use is causing some congestion with parking.
It is not generally known that the car park is owned by the village hall and the surgery pays a contribution towards upkeep for staff usage, and paying users of the hall will have priority.
We are working very closely with the surgery and they have agreed for staff to vacate the spaces or not bring their cars on days that we notify them of events.
We have recently purchased some “no parking cones” to reserve spaces when required.
Unfortunately these are being ignored by some visitors to the surgery.
Since there should be little, if any reduction in spaces for patients, please would drivers respect these arrangements and not park in a space that is reserved.
Additionally some drivers continue to restrict the fire exit despite signs and a permanent light over the door and a barrier in place.
As a result of this being identified by risk assessments, a solid barrier will be erected in the near future.
