Another couple of jobs completed for a regular client in Chesterfield.

▪️Ceiling pulled down, insulated, boarded and
plastered.

▪️floor screeded in the kitchen to hallway.

Also worked along side Inspire Electrical so that first fix for lighting could be completed.

Bathroom remodel completed in Sheffield. All work completed under DPU.

Finally got my certificate through the post the other week.

Starting my level 3 in a couple of weeks and my 18th edition exam booked in.

This weeks work is a bathroom refurb. Progress uploads soon to follow.
Loads of problems as usual trying to get new to meet old but we’ve got it smashed with only being 4 days in to the project.

Three lintels installed on the front of this property in Chesterfield over three days.

Two of the windows spanned over 2800mm without any form of support other than the weight being transferred over the PVC windows.

That’s right I’m still here! 🤘🏻

Currently back at college studying my level 3 in electrical installation. ⚡️

Also for the last 3 months Grassmoor Glass LTD have been subbing part of their building work to myself, keeping me extra busy on top of all my current projects on the go.

Started this project on Friday.

Out house door to be blocked, bricked up and internal wall to come down.

✅ Concrete slab removed to expose cavity
and damp proof course.

✅ Bricks toothed out ready to tie in to the
building.

✅ Hole cut in to right hand wall to open the
cavity.

✅ Wall starter kit added to the wall to tie the
blocks to the current wall.

Had a lovely two day break over the Easter bank holiday but back to it tomorrow!

Internal wall to come down tomorrow, ready for plumber to come in and fit the new boiler.

Busy couple of weeks of non structural alterations.

First set of images show a double door removed and blocked up to separate the living room and kitchen.
Room was also lined with timber and then plasterboard.
The client will plaster the room themselves to cut down cost as they carry on developing the house to their finished standard.

Second set of images shows a door being blocked up with a stud wall and plasterboard to allow for more cabinet space for when the new kitchen is fitted.

The door was then moved to around the corner and put back in place with a new door frame.

Also one radiator removed and capped off, one swapped for new one and new Radiator plumbed in. Meaning having to rip all the landing up to find the pipes.

All walls that needed it have been plastered too.

⚒️ Here are some photos of various jobs over last couple of months I have completed. 👷‍♂️

Bonus photo at the end of my van that decided I needed more spice in my life and set on fire due to an electrical fault 👍

Jobs lined up this next couple of weeks include;

▪️Finish off plaster boarding a room.
▪️Tiled over door porch.
▪️Internal door and radiators moved to make more space for a kitchen.
▪️Internal wall knocked down, out house door bricked up to bring more space to a kitchen. Also including a lintel above a UPVC door as there is no lintel existing causing brick work to sag.
