Thank You! 🌿🍰

A huge thank you to everyone who came to our charity open garden — we were blown away by the support!

We had 371 visitors, sold out of cake (twice!), and Colin even had to do some emergency baking. Meanwhile, our washing-up hero barely left the sink all day!

We absolutely loved meeting you all and are thrilled to share that we raised a fantastic £2719 for charity - £1944 ticket sales
£775 teas and cake!!!!. Every penny goes towards the wonderful causes supported by the National Garden Scheme

A special shout-out to our amazing helpers — who came from near and far (from Abbey Wood to Australia!) — we couldn’t do it without you.

But most of all, thank you to everyone who visited. Your kindness, enthusiasm and generosity made the day unforgettable.

It’s been a busy day at our Charity Open Garden! 🌿☀️
Thank you to everyone who’s come along so far – it’s been lovely to see so many friendly faces.

We’re open until 5pm, and there are still plenty of delicious homemade cakes waiting for you! 🍰🫖

We’re excited to be opening our garden tomorrow, Sunday 8 June, from 11–5 as part of the National Garden Scheme 🌿🌼

Here’s a quick look at the history of the house and some of the work we’ve done — but tomorrow is your chance to explore the garden in person, ask questions, and enjoy a slice of cake and a cuppa before you go. 🍰☕

The sun has promised to make an appearance, and we can’t wait to welcome you.
