Yesterday we rescued 6 new chickens from Holsworthy Fresh Start For Hens.
They'd had a long journey from a farm in Totnes so when we got them home we popped them in their hutch. This morning they're out with our remaining two hens and enjoying a good scratch and peck about.
Enjoy your retirement ladies and hopefully lay us a few yummy eggs! 🐔 🥚
