There's so many parallels to life when starting a new project. The unknown, sheer challenge, reliance on tradesmen, chaos and overgrown/ out-of-shape features needing attention, time and financial investment. Plus the hard lesson that as an actual property, not everyone is for you, but people are watching the For Sale sign. So the property fights back, gets transformed and payback the sacrificial love and attention given.
