We’re really pleased to share that CMS Group has been shortlisted in four categories at the Bath Property Awards 2026!

The shortlist includes:
Partnerships – CMS Group & Corsham House
Consultancy – CMS Group

It’s fantastic to see Corsham House recognised in two categories, alongside recognition for the wider CMS Group team.

A big thank you to everyone involved in the project, from our clients and consultants to the contractors and wider project team. It’s been a real collaborative effort.

Now we can look forward to the awards on the 6th November! 🤞

For the first time in a whole lot of networking, Peter found himself as the new guy in the room!

Last Thursday morning, he joined the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group at Marriott Bonvoy Swindon for a networking event.

As a recent new member, it was great to receive such a warm welcome and even better, Peter was invited up on stage to introduce CMS Group to everyone.

A great morning of meeting new people, making connections and getting involved in the local business community.

Thanks for the warm welcome! 👋

Last Thursday, Paul headed to No.20 Berkeley Square for the LK Group and Highgate Transportation coffee morning.

A really well-attended event with plenty of opportunities to catch up, meet new faces and chat with others across the property and built environment community.

Thanks to LK Group and Highgate Transportation for bringing everyone together!

Paul and Hope recently joined forces with Morgan Civil and Structural for the Backhouse Housing Limited Charity Quiz, competing as team “BIM There, Drunk That!” alongside around 15 teams.

There was plenty of friendly competition, some questionable quiz answers and one very important prize up for grabs… the wheelbarrow of booze! 😄

A great evening of teamwork, networking and fundraising for Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity.

Well done to everyone who took part and helped make it a great night!

On Tuesday, the CMS team took some time out for a CPD session with Mitsubishi Electric, focusing on Building Regulations Part O and considerations around overheating in buildings 📚

It’s important to us that our team continues to learn, develop and stay up to date with the latest regulations and industry guidance.

A great opportunity to share knowledge and keep learning together!

Corsham House has been entered into the Bath Property Awards 2026! 🏆

We’re really pleased to share that the transformation of the former Lloyds Bank on Corsham High Street has been put forward for this year’s awards.

As part of the submission, we received a fantastic testimonial from Charlie Luxton of The Beckford Group, who highlighted the care taken with the listed building, the project’s sustainability ambitions and, importantly, the strength of the team behind it.

“What made this project work was the strength of the partnership behind it.”

It’s been a real team effort, with CMS Group working alongside Max Fordham, Emerys and Ian Hopwood to give this historic building a new future.

We’ll find out later this week whether Corsham House has made the shortlist, fingers crossed! 🤞

A great evening of rugby, stories and plenty of laughs!

Last Thursday, Peter headed to Ashton Gate Stadium for Front Row Fun with rugby legends Ellis Genge, Joe Marler, Dan Cole and David Flatman.

It was an entertaining evening packed with stories from the pitch, changing room and beyond, alongside an audience Q&A and memorabilia auction.

A big thank you to Beard for their hospitality and for a brilliant evening in the company of some true rugby legends!

A busy week of networking for Peter!

This week, Peter attended two great events in Bath, catching up with familiar faces and making new connections.

The first was Talk Business UK Bath at Walcot House, followed by the LAF (Legal, Accounting & Finance) networking event, hosted by Mogers Drewett, Milsted Langdon LLP and South West Business Finance at The IVY Brasserie Bath.

It's always great to spend time with people from across the property, legal, finance and business communities and continue building strong relationships.

Thank you to everyone involved for two excellent events.

Last week, the CMS Group team headed to The Flemish Weaver in Corsham for some after-work drinks and a chance to catch up outside of the office.

A little later than our usual First Tuesday get-together, but still a great evening spent with the team!

It's always good to take some time away from the day-to-day and enjoy each other's company.

A great morning of networking, conversation and inspiration!

On Thursday, Peter attended the Total Business Network Wiltshire & Cotswolds Business Networking Brunch at Basset Down Complex.

It was a great opportunity to meet local business leaders and professionals, make new connections and catch up with familiar faces. The table-swap networking format meant plenty of conversations and opportunities to connect with people from across the region.

The morning also included an inspiring talk from Laura Rawlings of Wiltshire Wild Sauna, sharing her remarkable journey and the importance of being bold enough to turn ideas and dreams into reality.

A fantastic event with great conversations and plenty of new connections.

Thank you to everyone involved!
