Two ceilings overboarded and plastered by the two of us in Coventry for a returning customer.

We protected all the carpet with our water proof dust sheets as always.

We had to add extra timber to the underside of the original ceilings so we could get extra fixings into the new boards to make sure it was nice and strong.

We then plastered the ceilings getting rid of the dated artex that was there beforehand leaving the home owner with nice and smooth ceilings ready to be painted when they dry.

A little bit of patch and repair work this week for a returning customer in Stratford by the two of us.

The other patch work on the walls isn’t our work and was carried out by an electrician.

We dabbed plasterboards over the existing chimney breasts and plastered them.

We knocked off all loose plaster around the patches on the wall , sealed the background and applied two coats of hardwall back coat plaster and then two coats of finish plaster feathering it in to the existing wall.

These are only small repairs but they make a big difference to the home owner allowing them to decorate and move things along. 🏡

Another kitchen prepped and plastered in Leamington spa by the two of us for a kitchen fitter.

He needed this one finishing quite quickly to be able to keep up with demand.

Some of the walls were a mess on this job when we arrived but we soon got them sorted out. 👌🏻

There was bits of everything from dabbing , bonding , meshing, beading , scrimming and skimming .

I’ve also attached some screenshots of some of the reviews we’ve been left recently over on the business page. This really does mean a lot to us to hear such positive feedback.

A man cave completed last week by the two of us for a returning customer in Bulkington.

The homeowner had a go at boarding it themselves and then left some of it for us to complete when we arrived. 🤣

We spent a day prepping everything out boarding , beading , scriming adding extra screws in areas we thought needed more.
We sheeted up the floor as always which means less cleaning up and messing around to do at the end of the job.

This one was satisfying to complete and was a nice transformation. This now allows the customer to crack on with the rest of the install. 🔥

The customer sent us pictures and videos of the beginning of the install which is always nice to see.

A kitchen re plastered last week in Stratford upon-Avon in the heat 🔥

As you can see the whole room needed a lot of attention as it hadn’t been touched for a number of years.

We used a combination of traditional and modern plastering systems to get this kitchen ready for painting.

We knocked off all of the old loose plaster work back to brick and float and set all the walls out using hardwall back coat plaster designed for high suction backgrounds such as this. We sealed all the brickwork with a primer then we scratch coat and top coat leaving a mechanical key on the surface of the floating to allow the finishing plaster to adhere to it.

We over boarded the ceiling with plasterboards and then we gave all the walls an additional tight coat of bonding coat plaster and bedded reinforcement mesh into it to help prevent any future cracks from appearing.

We dabbed the reveals around the window out and attached angle beads to get all of the angles looking nice and sharp. 👌🏻

We then applied two coats of finish coat plaster to all of the walls.

We’re currently upstairs in the property cracking on with the bathroom.

Another room re plastered in Wyken , Coventry.

The customer had new French door’s fitted and thought it was time to update the dining room.

The ceiling was overboarded with plasterboards. This gives the ceiling added strength and longevity. Helps with sound travelling between rooms and overall is a much higher quality job.

The skirting boards were removed and levelled out and ruled off flat with bonding back coat plaster. After that the reveals around the new door and a return into the existing wall was dabbed out with plasterboard and left to set over night.

After a days prep work it was time to complete all the finish plastering work transforming the living space making it nice and sharp ready for decorating. 🔥

Everything kept clean and tidy as usual. 👌🏻

Another job completed on Saturday for a returning customer in Coventry.

It was a hot one 🔥

Both sides of a new stud wall that has been built freshly plastered and ready to be painted when fully dry.

One side of the new door liner I had less then 5mm to work to and on the other side I had to build out to about 15mm 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣

Door frames kept nice and clean as well as pipes and screws for the radiator carefully worked around.

The home owner can now get the builder back in to hang the new rad and new door and can also finish the decorating off. 🏡

A bedroom completed last week in Tile Hill , Coventry by the two of us.

A lot of prep work went into this one.

We overboarded the ceiling with plasterboard, meshed the existing walls to give them added strength and we then bonded some of the walls out to straighten them out where they were out of shape.

A utility room completed this week by the two of us in Stratford.

It’s nice to transform a room that hasn’t been touched for over 20 years and get it looking nice and sharp again. 👌🏻

A smaller job completed today by the two of us at a house renovation we completed last year in Solihull.

I forgot to take pictures of the prep but we boarded around the new composite door that’s been fitted with plasterbaord and plastered it. This finishes off the space nicely and allows the homeowner to finish off decorating the property before moving inn.

Some people might not bother going back to do such a small job but seeing as we did the whole house we felt it was only right to finish the job off properly.
