Precision is everything.

This recent project features bespoke top and bottom framed mouldings installed using high-quality pre-primed materials, finished with a perfectly aligned dado rail throughout the room.

Every measurement was carefully considered:
▫️ 10cm spacing from wall to frame
▫️ 10cm spacing between each frame
▫️ 10cm spacing between the dado and lower panels

It’s this level of detail and symmetry that separates a standard finish from a luxury one.

One thing we always say to clients:
“Cheap work isn’t good, and good work isn’t cheap.”

So here we have another panelling job that has just been finished? We were given a photo and asked to replicate it.
Obviously, the wall that we were given wasn’t a blank wall there were many things to think about such as two sets of door frames four sockets, two switches and missing skirting board.
We also decided that the thickness of the material needed to be made thinner so we also needed to rip everything through on the table saw to get it to the appropriate size.
All in all I think it was a good result. The customer is happy with it 🥰 What do you think?

Another day and another wall panelling job completed this time we carried out the installation of the inlay style. The panelling covers two staircases a hallway a landing and then I’m very tiny section of the very top

So this is one of our favourite styles which surprisingly we don’t get requested very often is the top and bottom double frame mouldings.
Like with all of our jobs, we now only use pre-primed mouldings unless requested or the supplier goes bankrupt.
Would the style we will be usually in and out within a day? and on this particular job the cost was £480.

This was another job carried out using skirting4u’s decorative mouldings.
On this job, the customer used the thicker Edwardian Dado along with the Gemini mouldings also the thicker version(I’m not 100% sure if they still do the thicker versions) what do we think about this style? Do we like it? Would you have it in your house?

People love to say they “saved money” doing their own wall panelling… but did they actually?
If it’s your first time and you’re tackling a hall, stairs, and landing, you’ve already made it harder than it needs to be. This isn’t a beginner project, no matter how easy TikTok makes it look.
First you’ve got to pick a style. Then you need to calculate materials properly—which most people don’t. Beading comes in 2.4m lengths, and once you start factoring in cuts and waste, it adds up fast.
That “simple” picture frame box? 1m by 70cm? That’s already eating into multiple lengths of material. Multiply that across your whole space and suddenly your “budget job” isn’t so budget anymore.
Then there’s the cutting. If you don’t have the right tools—or the skill—you’ll end up hiding bad joins with caulk. It might look alright on camera, but in real life? People notice.
And let’s talk about time. Most couples will burn at least two full weekends on this. That’s four days. At minimum wage, that’s around £800 worth of your time—before materials, before mistakes, before fixing things you didn’t plan for.
So be honest—did you actually save money?
Or did you just spend your weekends stressed, frustrated, and end up with a finish that doesn’t quite hit the mark?

Another beautiful inlay style panelling job complete.
With regards to this style, we offer 2 different inlays. One that sticks proud which can be seen in this reel, and then one that sits flush/slightly back.
This style generally is a higher priced style due to it basically being a combination of the shaker style panelling and the dado and frame style panelling!
