What I genuinely love about this job is that my “office” is never really an office.

Some days it is at home, other days it is a local coffee shop (Bluebean/Grounded/Ebbsfleet Cafe), sometimes it is my car between appointments… and occasionally it is somewhere you would not expect. I once found myself sat on a lounger at a spa, phone out, keeping a sale together. Sounds odd, I know, but things had got a bit tense between buyer and seller and being in that calm environment actually helped me reset, have the right conversations and get everything back on track within minutes.

That is the thing with this job, it is not just about property, it is about people and sometimes you need the right headspace to handle it properly.

Last night, my office was by the lake at Castle Hill around 7pm. The sun was starting to set, everything was quiet… and I was on the phone talking to my client. It did not feel like work, it was more of a normal conversation, the kind you would have with a friend, just talking things through.

I think that is why I enjoy working around Ebbsfleet so much. You have got these moments, the lake, the open spaces, that just help you think clearly. It makes a difference, not just to how you feel, but to how you do your job.
