2:00pm: “Can someone grab the screwdriver? There’s no front door.” 🔨😂

Because apparently being an estate agent means you need to be part valuer, part negotiator, part handyman… and occasionally just a bloke with a drill. 🤷‍♂️

From million-pound valuations to removing bits of wood from the front of a house — you genuinely couldn’t make it up!

The joys of estate agency. You’ve got to love it. 😂

WHEN THINGS DON’T GO TO PLAN… 😂🏡

You know those days when you arrive at a property thinking “Right, this will be easy…”?

Yeah. This wasn’t one of those days. 😂

Running late, trying to get in, juggling everything… and somehow I nearly ended up taking the Sky dish off the side of someone’s house with me! 🤦‍♀️📡

Thankfully, no Sky dishes were harmed in the making of this appointment … 😆

It’s one of those moments that reminds you that estate agency isn’t always glossy photos, sold boards and perfectly timed appointments.

Sometimes it’s running late, getting yourself into a pickle and praying nobody is watching! 😂

But honestly… I wouldn’t change it. 💖

Because behind every property transaction there’s a real person, a real story… and occasionally a very nearly dismantled satellite dish! 😂🏡

Things don’t always go to plan — but that’s half the fun!

As people, we are quick to talk about our successes… but today we want to talk about a fail.

We went out to value a property. Everything was going smoothly… until the lovely lady offered Damian a chair.

Unfortunately, it was less chair and more b***y trap.

Damian sat down, the chair gave way, he went backwards… and somehow managed to put his head through the plasterboard. 😭😂

Safe to say, this was not the most conventional way to inspect the property’s structural integrity.


We didn’t get instructed on the property and we’re still wondering why…

Was it the valuation?
Was it the head-through-the-wall incident?
Or were they simply not impressed with our very hands-on approach to property inspection? 😂

Either way, Damian survived, the wall… not so much.

P.S. we promise this was a one time incident 😬
