Valley gutters are weak spots in a roof and should be checked periodically.
Due to morter dislodging from the sides of the valley that has also aided with the dislodging of the adjacent tiles, rainwater has ingressed through and the timber valley beam is now rotten and requires replacing. Very costly.
Regular maintenance is far less costly.
Check those valleys!
