People spend a fortune on new bathrooms, but when it goes wrong and the installers disappear it highlights the incompetence of some companies.

Unfortunately it's happening every day and customers are feeling like they are helpless. It needs to stop. If you don't pay them, they take you to small claims court. Why don't you do the same for their dodgy standards.

Every time I post its about amazing seals. But here's a different view.

01 Feb I removed a trim in someone's shower and installed new silicone. All was great, until the other day when the customer showed me the seal had moulded. 7.5 month it had lasted.

Not good enough.

Went back today and removed the seal to find that I'd missed a bit of mould on the fiest removal. That then made contact with the nice new silicone and spread.

Job redone. Customer asked what the price was.... Zero. They'd already paid 7.5 months ago.

I suppose the point here is not every job goes perfect, it's how we respond to the imperfections that count.

Our monthly reminder that trims dont work, they just trap the water which becomes stagnant, smelly and mouldy.

It's more than getting there on time or letting you know we are running ahead or behind. It's more than putting on new shoe covers at every job or being insured and DBS checked.

Poor initial install and the guy disappears. Homeowners had to try do it themselves.

Now the bath passes our 3 tests that we ask on every job.
1. Is it water tight
2. Will it last
3. Is it good to look at

When you have a rubbish installation and the guy vanishes, ignoring messages when its leaking after a few weeks, you'll try anything.... tons of sealant, trims etc but it's not working and still leaking.

Dont waste your time, money or effort, give us a shout.

You don't need to deal with mouldy, leaking baths. We can make it like new again.

It's totally understandable that people think this needs a new bathroom for £8000, but thats not often the case.
