SEND Reforms Webinar for Essex Parents & Carers - 24th April 2026
Please join Essex County Council and Essex Family Forum, the independent Parent Carer Forum for Essex, for an information session on the SEND reforms. This webinar is for parents and carers who live within the geographic boundaries of Essex County Council (excluding Southend and Thurrock residents).

The session will provide key information about the open consultation: “SEND reform: putting children and young people first.” The webinar will be hosted by Essex Family Forum and co-presented by:
• Clare Kershaw, Director of Education
• Ralph Holloway, Head of SEND Strategy and Innovation
• Alexandra Abercrombie, SEND Strategy Lead: Transformation
• Colleagues from Essex Family Forum
There will also be a Q&A session, where questions can be submitted via the webinar Q&A function. We will also share updates on work taking place ahead of the SEND reforms and how Essex Family Forum is representing the voices of parents and carers across Essex. Your feedback will help shape Essex Family Forum’s response to the consultation.

Details of Webinar:
Date: Friday, 24 April
Time: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
