Yesterday, I was reminded of a passion that was once such a huge part of my life: horses.

For years, I rode, competed in showjumping and dressage, and spent countless hours at the yard. It was not simply a hobby; it was part of who I was.

Then life changed, as it does. Other responsibilities took over and, somewhere along the way, I stopped riding. I cannot even pinpoint exactly when or why, and I have not been on a horse for a very long time.

But yesterday brought all those memories flooding back. It reminded me how much I loved it, how happy it made me and perhaps how easy it is to lose touch with a part of ourselves when life gets busy.

Maybe this is my sign that it is time to get back in the saddle… although I suspect my muscles may have something to say about that! 😂🐴

I am Kelly - Edinburgh born and raised, property obsessed and completely incapable of walking past a dog without saying hello! 🐶

Before estate agency, I worked in banking and retail, became a driving instructor and competed in showjumping and dressage. It might sound like quite a mixture, but each experience taught me something valuable - how to work with people, communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure and never give up! 😂

Now I work in estate agency, doing what I love most - helping people navigate what can sometimes feel like a stressful and overwhelming process. 🏡

A new chapter begins. 🏡

I am so excited to share that I have joined Robert Holmes as a Sales Broker, representing the brand in Edinburgh.

Being born and raised in Edinburgh, it feels particularly special to be building this next chapter in the city I have always called home.
