June Home Staging is looking for a creative, hardworking and reliable freelance staging assistant to join our team!

This is a hands-on role helping us transform properties and get them ready for the market. The ideal person will have a great eye for detail, be practical and organised, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative environment.

✨ We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a full driving licence and their own vehicle
• Is creative and has a good eye for interiors, styling and detail
• Is hardworking, energetic and reliable
• Is organised and able to work independently
• Enjoys hands-on work, including moving furniture and styling properties
• Is flexible and able to accommodate occasional last-minute jobs or changes to schedule
• Is dependable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Has an interest in social media and/or photography — a bonus, but not essential
• Is based in or around Edinburgh and is willing to travel throughout Scotland

✨ Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who aligns with our business values and ethos.

We care about the quality of our work, attention to detail, professionalism, creativity and providing an excellent service to our clients. We’re looking for someone who shares these values and takes pride in being part of a small, growing business.

Previous experience in interiors, home staging, property, photography or a similar role would be a bonus, but attitude, reliability, work ethic and a great eye for detail are just as important.

This is a freelance position, with work primarily around Edinburgh and occasional travel across Scotland.

Every property is different, which is why we offer a range of home staging packages to suit all budgets.

For this project, we took a phased approach, allowing the client to invest where it would make the biggest impact while staying within budget.

It wasn't just about making the property look better – it was about improving how the space worked for guests.

For example, the property slept six people, yet there was only one sofa. We introduced additional seating so everyone had somewhere comfortable to relax. We replaced the window dressings to soften the space, add warmth and create a more homely feel. We also redesigned the dining area to make it feel inviting and somewhere guests would genuinely want to gather.

Throughout the process, we considered how guests would experience and use each room, ensuring the property felt welcoming, practical and comfortable from the moment they walked through the door.

The result? A refreshed space that feels like home and is designed to leave a lasting impression.
