📖 As we mark the anniversary of W. B. Yeats's birth in 1865, it is worth remembering the extraordinary influence he had on Irish literature.

Few writers did more to weave together folklore, mythology, and poetry.

Yeats spent much of his life exploring the unseen layers of the world, drawing inspiration from Irish stories, landscapes, and imagination.

His work helped shape the Irish Literary Revival and earned him the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1923.

Today, his words continue to invite readers to look a little closer at the world around them.

WooHoo 🥳 Congrats Dessie!! 🍻

Boho’s doing a wee victory dance this week because THE LINNET INN bagged ‘Pub of the Year in Ulster’ at the Irish Restaurant Awards in Dublin!

Our only thatched pub in Fermanagh, run by the one-and-only Dessie McKenzie, went from Fermanagh champ in Armagh to Ulster king on Monday night. Some going! 👏👏

If you’ve not been — sort it out. Think roaring open hearth, the legendary Cave Bar tucked out the back, and a beer garden with Boho views that’d make you order a second round just to sit longer. Dessie’ll have you sorted with a pint and a yarn about the local history too. Pure class!

So next time you’re doing a Fermanagh run, stick The Linnet Inn on the itinerary. Thatched roof, warm welcome, award-winning craic. What more do you want? 👌
