I have a gripe about a new program I watched on TV where 4 people empty a families home completely into a warehouse, sort it, declutter it and then put it back, organised. (Though it did look lovely in the end).

1. The presenters were agast at how much 'clutter' there was in the house when actually I didn't think it that bad, (clutter rating definitely less than 4) but OMG when it was spead out in the warehouse the quantity looked mad.

2. The organiser spent 2 HOURS sorting lego by colour. I don't think she has children!! Life is too short to be getting young children (or you) to dismantle the lego back into colours once played with. And, do the children really learn a lesson by keeping it separated into colours? Where is the fun in that?

Am I being unreasonable thinking like that? Does /did anyone else actually separate lego by colour and keep it that way?
