Girl Friday

🤍 Out of Office 🤍

It’s been a very long summer, and I’ve worked more weekends than I care to admit! So, I’m taking a little well deserved downtime to recharge and enjoy some time off. ☀️

I’ll be switching off for a bit, but all messages and enquiries will be replied to as soon as I’m back in three weeks’ time.

Thank you so much for your patience and continued support. It’s very much appreciated! 🤍

Booking two small rooms at the same time to allow for drying times made perfect sense at the time… but Helen didn’t take into account the two flights of stairs between the downstairs loo and the loft room ensuite! 😅😂

I absolutely love the colour choices for these rooms though, and the satisfying fix on the peeling paint… even if my leg muscles are now twice the size! 😂💪🏼

When you find yourself working another weekend…

“Alexia… fancy finishing the bathroom project for me?” 🤞🏼😂

A girl can dream! 🤣

How satisfying is this…

Making the most of this glorious weather! ☀️
Another exterior cleaned, prepped, and finished with a fresh new colour scheme.

Jet washing in a heatwave…? Yes please! ☀️
I normally try to stay dry while jet washing, but yesterday was definitely an exception. I wasn’t complaining about getting soaked in that heat!

Working through the weekend in the heat was definitely a challenge.

So yesterday’s ( slight ) drop in temperature couldn’t have come at a better time, making it much easier to return and put the finishing touches on this exterior.

The raised garden surrounding the property made access a little more interesting, but seeing it all come together made it all worthwhile.

Who says landings have to be boring? 🎥

I had fun with this project yesterday. This staircase is now home to a collection of iconic film posters and memorabilia, carefully hung to create one seamless feature wall.

Seeing it all come together was so satisfying. I absolutely love how it’s turned out.
