Hey All,

A quick update on how I’m doing things for 2026... 🛠️🚐

I’ve had a lot of people asking lately if I do "regular" maintenance. Usually, you guys call me when something has already snapped, leaked, or fallen off the wall!

So, I’m launching a few Monthly Home Memberships for my regulars here in Fareham and surrounding areas.

The idea is simple: You secure a dedicated slot in my diary every month. I show up, you give me your "to-do" list, and I tick everything off. No more waiting for quotes, no more "I’ll get round to it next year," and no more DIY headaches on your weekends.

I’ve got 3 levels depending on what your home needs:

🛠️ THE STARTER: Perfect for the "odd jobs"—leaky taps, shelf hanging, or safety checks.

🏠 THE REGULAR: My most popular one. A solid half-day every month to tackle the bigger stuff like flat-packs, fencing, or guttering.

👑 THE TOTAL CARE: A full day of my time every month. I basically look after the house for you so you don't have to lift a finger.

The catch? Because it's just me and my van, I can only take on 8 members to start with. as I already have 5 members secured already. I want to make sure I’m always there when you need me.

If you want to see the Price Guide and how it all works, just comment "GUIDE" below or send me a message or WhatsApp and I’ll send the details over to you.

Cheers,
Chris.

🔨 Christmas Countdown: Results Over Noise (And Big News!) 🔨
Christmas is round the corner, and the window to tick off those "must-do" jobs is closing rapidly.

STATUS UPDATE: FULLY BOOKED.
I am currently fully booked for the next few weeks. This isn't a marketing tactic; it is the reality of high demand. If you have an urgent, critical job, you need to get in touch immediately to see if we can squeeze it in. Spots are extremely limited and will go to those who secure them first.

📉 The Reality of "Social Media Tradesmen"
You will notice I don’t post here often. I don’t have time to curate a feed or chase likes.

Here is the truth: When a business is genuinely successful, they are too busy on the tools to be constantly updating their status. I used to think constant advertising was the key to this game. I was wrong.

Word of mouth and repeat customers are the only true measure of success. If other local businesses have the time to post daily updates and run constant ads, you have to ask yourself: Why aren't they working? My silence on Facebook is simply the sound of a full diary.

🧱 The "Can-Do" Qualification
I never went to college for this. I don't have a piece of paper on the wall; I have a reputation built on grit, late nights, and a "can-do" attitude that solves problems others walk away from. My experience grows with every single job I complete.

Just recently, that attitude has looked like this:
• The Midnight Shift: Painting an entire flat solo, working late into the night to hit a deadline so new occupants could move in.
• A Professional Note: I never hold out on the cost of paint. Cheap paint is a mistake—it costs you more in time and coats. Quality materials speak for themselves.
• The Solo Transformation: Painting a house front and back, floor to roof, entirely solo in Pure Brilliant White. The result is flawless (see photo).
• Structural Rescue: Fixing a huge warp in an extremely long shed roof caused by poor assembly (or lack thereof) by previous workers.
• Volume Work: Changing 2x shed roofs for the same customer, back-to-back.
• The List Goes On: Fixing punch holes in walls, sorting fascias, soffits, guttering—if it needs doing, I get it done.

🚐 BIG NEWS: The Business is Mobile!
I am proud to announce I have officially secured my first van for the business!
It needs a little bit of TLC to get it up to my standards, but right now, Christmas for the family is the priority. Once the festivities are over and the van is ready, you will see me out and about in Fareham. It’s a massive milestone for a single man running the show, and proof that hard work pays off.

🤝 More Than Just a Business
Running this solo has been a journey. I’ve had ups and downs.
• The Negatives: Essential learning curves that refined how I operate.
• The Positives: Confirmation that I am doing everything right.

The ultimate validation isn't the invoice; it's the fact that my customers now ring me just for a chat to see how I am on a personal level. That connection proves that a single man with the right attitude can achieve exactly what I set out to do: become a successful, reliable helper you actually trust.

❄️ Winter Services Checklist
Don't get caught out by the cold. Aside from the usual, I can help with:
• Gutter Clearing: Essential before the heavy rains and freezing temps hit.
• Storm Prep: Securing fences and loose outdoor fixtures.
• The Final Cut: The last essential cut and tidy for your garden before winter sets in.
• Draft Proofing: keeping the heat in and the cold out.
• Light Removal: Safe take-down and storage of your Christmas lights in the New Year.

Results speak louder than posts. Message me now for urgent inquiries.

Hey everyone.

I apologize for the lack of recent updates. My schedule has been fully booked with a consistent and high volume of work, leaving little time for anything else. It's been a period of intense focus on securing new contracts and partnerships to become the leading provider for all my clients' needs.

I'm pleased to report on the diverse range of projects successfully completed, which include:
• Assisting with residential moves
• Installing fixtures such as shelves and televisions
• Completing interior and exterior painting projects
• Performing repairs, including fixing broken fence posts
• Ongoing garden maintenance
My upcoming schedule is equally busy with a variety of new projects, including:
• Siliconing bathrooms
• Constructing sheds from the ground up
• Replacing kitchen units
• Mounting curtain rods and mirrors

I continue to provide quotes on a daily basis, and I'm very grateful that word-of-mouth recommendations have been so effective. Thank you to everyone who has recommended my services.

I'm also excited to announce that I'm exploring new partnerships and have future goals of expanding the business with new staff. As a result, my response times may be slightly delayed as I manage multiple projects and travel between client locations.

Please don't hesitate to reach out for any help you need, no matter the size of the job. I am committed to providing reliable service and taking the stress out of your project.

Four Months In: My Incredible Journey

It feels like just yesterday I was taking a deep breath and hitting 'go' on this whole business adventure, but here we are, four months in, and what an incredible ride it's been! Based right here in Fareham, it's been far more diverse, challenging, and rewarding than I ever could have imagined.

Honestly, every day is different, and that's what I love. I've had the privilege of helping over 100 customers across our community and the surrounding areas. One day I'm carefully mounting a huge TV that feels like it weighs more than I do, the next I'm hanging shelves, pictures, and mirrors, trying to get them perfectly level (it's a personal mission!). I've even brought beloved pieces back to life by fully restoring tables, which is surprisingly satisfying.

The outdoor projects have been a huge part of it too. I've tackled everything from transforming overgrown spaces in garden restorations, resurfacing patios to simply keeping things tidy with w**ding and lawn mowing. Believe it or not, I've also found myself helping folks sell their cars and sorting out services and MOTs. And then there's the painting – full houses, external windows, and doors – it’s a good workout! Plus, I’ve become quite the expert at trimming and removing hedges and, of course, the ever-present challenge of flat-pack furniture. Every job, big or small, feels like a little victory.

Starting my own business has definitely brought a whole new rhythm to my life. The biggest, most precious 'pro' is being able to walk my daughter to school every single day. Seriously, that half-hour stroll, holding her hand, chatting about her day – it’s something I wouldn't trade for anything, and it's a huge reason why I took this leap. And honestly, having the flexibility to set my own hours? It's a game-changer.

Of course, it hasn't all been perfectly smooth sailing. I still cringe when I think about accidentally pulling out that customer's prized plant, mistaking it for a w**d. That was a truly humbling (and slightly embarrassing) moment, but definitely a lesson learned! And let's be real, the work doesn't always switch off when I close the front door; my mind is often buzzing with plans for the next day. But honestly, looking back, it's all gone so much better than I ever dared to hope.

I really want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone in Fareham and the surrounding areas who has put their trust in me. It means the world, and seeing so many of you become repeat customers, some on a fortnightly basis, is just fantastic. And to the amazing people I've hired to help out – I genuinely couldn't be doing this without your hard work and support. Last but not least, to my family, your unwavering encouragement through this whole new chapter has been my foundation.

I'm genuinely excited about what the future holds. I can't wait to share my year-end update; if these first four months are anything to go by, it’s going to be a positive one! Thank you all again, from the bottom of my heart, and I really look forward to meeting many more of you.

I got a call from an experienced local handyman who needed help painting a house before new tenants moved in. I took on the lounge, hallway, stairs, landing, and three bedrooms, finishing it all in just four days. I learned a lot from him during the process and am really proud of how it turned out.
