Fence panel replaced. As usual, the old panel was a non-standard size so the new one had to be dismantled, cut to size and the panel re-assembled. No problem.

New capping strips were fitted to the remaining panels as the old strips had rotted away. The old panels didn't need to be replaced.

Just finished: garden refurb. 2 tonnes of golden gravel, railway sleepers cut and bolted to make a planting bed for the bamboo and damp proof membrane to keep the bamboo contained.

We have some 'golden gravel' left over which is for sale in small bags. Another post to follow soon when I've weighed it.

A quick upgrade to a bike today: new ladies comfort saddle, cycle rack, side stand and adjustment of brakes and gears. She's going to buy the panniers herself. No more parking charges or petrol to get into town for her!

Quick repair to a mountain bike and a tap.

The tap was too small for the basin and dripped onto the wooden worktop. So a quick addition of clear bathroom sealant directed the drips into the basin avoided the need for a new tap entirely. PS I didn't fit the tap originally.

Mountain bike mudguard replaced.
