Was very warm and the lads enjoyed the peace & quiet and a bbq

Toilet block with canteen arriving Monday .

Hopfully set up with flushing toilet by end of May.

Test fishing
For the first time ever I’m test fishing one of my lakes before opening it up! So me & my old mate Clive have tried different rigs and bait! I’ve mainly boilie fished with pva mesh pellet bags on, Clive’s used the bait boat with echo. Bait wise he’s used pellets,maize, h**p and crushed boilie.

Clive 21runs 17 carp.
Roger 5 runs 3 carp.

Tbh I’m sure I could have tried harder but I’m just getting back in to the routine of fishing after my operation

The carp fight hard & strong and it’s a lovely place to chill down here at Stag lake.

I can see it becoming as Exculsive as H lake syndicate in a few years.

Still plenty of places left for the start of the season 1st May
