Market Update 📊

A quick look at what’s happening across the local market this week.

Price reductions are becoming increasingly common. Over half of Canterbury's live stock has come down in price, more than a third in Ashford.

For me, this reinforces just how important getting the price right from the start is. If you’re thinking of selling this autumn, those first few weeks on the market really matter.

I’ve pulled the figures directly from the property portals and checked them against the individual price histories, so this is based on what’s actually happening in the market.

This weekend, Faversham’s Hop Festival takes place, one of Kent’s best annual events celebrating the town’s hop growing heritage. Saturday and Sunday, the town centre comes alive with live music, street parades, brewery tastings, a fairground and stalls from local makers. Free to get in, with a few paid extras like brewery tours if you fancy it.

Faversham Hop festival

Loverly morning on the Leas in Folkestone seeing the exciting collection of cars within Oldtimer Car Rally Club. From a young age I’ve always loved the vintage cars and era they came from, their design and power. Seeing just how well these motors were looked after and appreciated by their owners was brilliant.

Folkestone is a place I love too with the beachfront, the history, the art scene, the vibe, especially the friends.
