It was orginally called the Railway Hotel it opened at the same time as the Lydd railway station. Then was renamed to Bridge Inn in 1938. Then continued run as a pub until early 2014. Reason 1 for wanting to live in Folkestone.

I grew up here and still enjoy living here to this day. This is Randor park pond. I remember coming here with my Dad and uncle as a child and fishing here. I remember spending many weekends learning to fish. You are able to still fish here, which I do spend time down here spending time with my daughter.

What is your favourite thing about Folkestone and why? Ill go first.

For me the best thing about it for me is the beach. I love being able to just walk anywhere from folkestone and find a beach. Being able to just sit there and listen to the waves braking and forget the world. It beings alot of peace and tranquillity.
