If your new to property then the most likely your first port of call will be Rightmove and whilst there will definitely be deals on there it’s also good to look at elsewhere where the competition might be slightly less .

Some places or ideas that might pay off are :

🔍 Abandoned , rundown or derelict properties you may have spotted on your travels .

🔍General chats with neighbours , friends , or family who may be looking for a quick sale .

🔍Starting up relationships with estate agents in your goldmine area

🔍Soraking with local companies who may have access to repossessed properties (such as lawyers , debt collections , local councils etc)

🔍Free advertising websites such as Gumtree , Facebook Marketplace , Ad trader etc .

🔍Joining local online or in person community groups where information on properties or areas might be shared .

These are just a few ideas or places that may bare fruit when looking for deals but there are thousands of places more worth looking .
