Here at Elite Media we’re all about photography (and videography!), but today we’re sharing a slightly different photo with you…
The camera you can see was the first one we used when starting Elite Media. It served us well, and accounted for the first 100,000 photos we took until it was retired.
The frame you can see in the background contains a couple of important documents:
📃 Invoice 001 (the first invoice we ever issued)
📃 A piece of paper with an unusual backstory. Before Elite Media was formed, our now Co-Founder and Creative Director, Steven had written on it “The best real estate photography company in the UK” which then remained in his kitchen.
Following a fight with a lawnmower (!) when cutting the grass on a hot day, a rather sweaty Steven ran into the kitchen and grabbed the first thing he could find to wipe the cut… said piece of paper.
Fast forward a short while later and Steven found himself going through a hard period of his life and ended up crying at the kitchen table - as a result, a few of his tears ended up falling on the same piece of paper.
One piece of paper complete with blood, sweat and tears (literally!) which now sits in our office as a reminder of where we began and what we aim to achieve:
